Two Grey Hills

In the early part of the 20th century, traders Ed Davies and George Bloomfield became known for these exquisite and valuable rugs, which they spent many hours in very detailed work with Navajo weavers at Two Grey Hills and the Toadlena Trading Post. These fine rugs have a high thread count (weft) and lighter weight, qualifying it as a tapestry by many standards. This style is sometimes called "The Cadillac" of Navajo rugs.
